PURPOSE: To obtain the effective distribution in the utilizing of a public line network by making access to a data base for karaoke (recorded accompaniment) via an ISDN line network by a personal computer, recording a video and sound data for karaoke in a storage medium and using these data.

CONSTITUTION: After a storage medium 10 is taken out from an output device 9, it is loaded in a karaoke device 12. In the karaoke device 12, the voice inputted from a microphone 12a and sound data for karaoke stored in the storage medium 10 are synthesized by a transmission means 12e to be transmitted to a radio receiver 14 and then the synthesized sound data are reproduced in the radio receiver 14 to be outputted from a speaker. Video data are a text and a background and the video data and sound data in which the signal from the microphone is synthesized are converted into a television signal in a transmitting means 12d to be transmitted to a receiver 13. Then, a video and a sound are outputted to a display screen and a speaker.
