Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption in a fixed station so as to make the application of the station flexible by operating an oscillator in a data carrier by means of an energy source and supplying energy to a radio connecting means, and then, making the fixed station send out high-frequency energy upon receiving the energy from the data carrier.
CONSTITUTION: When the user of a data carrier 1 wants to start data exchange with a dormant fixed station 2 and closes a switch 28 in the carrier 1, energy is supplied to an oscillator 18 from an energy source 10 and starts resonance circuits 20 and 22 through a conductor 11 and a switch 24. The voltages which rise in the circuits 20 and 22 start a data processing circuit, 16 by supplying a DC voltage to the circuit 16 through a rectifier circuit 12 and a conductor 13. A coil 30 in a station 2 generates a voltage across its conductors 31 and 33 upon receiving a signal sent from the carrier 1. A reception circuit 36 detects the generated voltage and turns on a computer 38 and an oscillator 34 by connecting a conductor 41 to an energy source 40 by operating a switch 42.
