Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate trouble for changing the shape of parts of a CAD drawing by generating the new CAD drawing by substituting automatically shape data after change for the shape data stored before in the case that the change of the shape of the parts in the CAD drawing arises.
CONSTITUTION: A keyboard 2 for inputting various kinds of commands and a CRT 3 for displaying the generated CAD drawing are connected as external devices to a CPU 1 to execute the generation of the CAD drawing and the examination of interference. Besides, a storage device 4 is connected to the CPU 1, and the arrangement state of each part used in the CAD drawing is stored in it as being given the shape data and the attribute of each corresponding part. Then, in the case that the change of the part shape of one part among all the parts arises, the shape data of the corresponding part is substituted for the stored shape data in accordance with the change, and the new CAD drawing in which the part shape is changed is generated. Besides, the examination of the interference of a tool after the change is executed automatically on the basis of the operating path of the tool and information related to a member arranged around it in the CAD drawing stored before.
