PURPOSE: To expand a processing function by adding a packet processing part to a data driving type computer and allowing the packet processing part to receive a packet having an instruction code which can not be processed by the computer and execute processing based on the instruction code.
CONSTITUTION: The packet processing part 11 is added to the data driving type computer 10. A packet is constituted of a destination flag, an operand flag, a color/generation number, a destination node number, an instruction code, an L/R flag, and data. A program storage part 102 forms an instruction packet in accordance with a packet destination node number inputted from an input part 101. An ignition part 103 executes the ignition processing of the instruction packet and forms an arithmetic packet. An arithmetic processing part 104 executes the operation of data in the arithmetic packet. A packet processing part 11 executes a division instruction or the like not processed by the arithmetic processing part 104. The processed packet is applied to the input part 101.
