Abstract:
PURPOSE:To recrease the quantity of a conversion program of picture data format by converting the picture data format to be read into a format suitable for the line and sending the result. CONSTITUTION:An interface section 31a has a function converting the format of a data sent from a FAX equipment 3b into a format suitable for the line, and a function converting the format of the received data into a format suitable for the FAX equipment 3b. The data format is converted into the line format in this way so as to reduce the conversion program quantity of interface sections 11a, 11b. Further, in connecting the FAX equipment 3b with a different format to an office computer 1c, since the provision of the interface section 31a having the functions of FAX/line conversion and line/FAX conversion is enough for the purpose, the economical system can be offered.
