Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a period in which no data is output.SOLUTION: A data readout device for accumulating data and reading out the accumulated data can read out no data if an error occurs during accumulation and no data is accumulated, causing an underflow to occur. Readout is controlled using information included in the data to prevent any underflow from successively occurring even after the underflow occurs and thus no error should occur. At timing specified by information signaled in the data, readout of the accumulated data with the signaled information is started. The present technology can be applied to a reception unit which receives signals in an M-PLP system in DVB-T.2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
