To provide a data relay system capable of quickly processing a large amount of data without changing an existing bank system.
The data relay system 1 is connected with the bank system 2 through a low-speed communication channel and connected with the terminal 3 of a client through a high-speed communication channel. The data relay system 1 receives a fund moving request from the terminal 3 of the client, converts it to an all bank format and then transmits it to the bank system 2. Also, the kind of inquiry data can be registered in the data relay system from the terminal 3 of the client. In this case, an inquiry data acquisition request is transmitted from the data relay system 1 to the bank system 2 according to the kind of registered inquiry data at the preset time. The data transmitted from the bank system 2 are stored and the stored inquiry data are transmitted in response to the inquiry data acquisition request from the terminal 3 of the client.
