Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a circuit scale and power consumption by executing a bus boosting processing in a low sampling frequency when data is divided into frequency bands.
SOLUTION: Frequency-time base converters 6-1 to 6-3 input spectrum data which are divided and compressed for the respective frequency bands of H, M and L bands and output data on respective time bases. The sampling frequencies of output data on the time bases of the H, M and L bands are Fs/2, Fs/4 and Fs/4 when the sampling frequency of data recorded in a disk is set to be Fs, and they are expanded/synthesized in synthesis filters 6-5, 6-6. Bus boosting LPF 6-7 executes the burst boosting processing on low frequency band data of the L band, which is from the frequency-time base converter 6-3, in the state of the sampling frequency Fs/4, and it sends data to an adder 6-9 through an over-sampling circuit 6-10.
