Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize the addition and change of record retrieving mode by arbitrating the simultaneous accesses of a circuit which controls the retrieval of records and a circuit which controls the addition and change of record to a high-speed read/write enable memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:An addition/change control circuit 6 which controls the addition and change of records changes the pointed record stored in a high-speed read/ write enable memory 1 by an external addition instruction and based on the contents of a counter circuit 3. A control circuit 5 which retrieves records reads successively the record keys out of the memory 1 and performs continuously the comparison among those record keys until the coincidence is secured with the contents held by a retrieving key memory circuit 4. An access conflict arbitrating circuit 20 which arbitrates the simultaneous accesses to the memory 1 arbitrates the conflict between the access supplied from the circuit 6 and the access supplied from the circuit 5 if occur at one time. Thus the record is added or changed in a record retrieving mode.
