Abstract:
To improve a failure analysis property or workability in finding out an abnormality cause of events when a failure and trouble by some reasons occur during vehicle driving.
A data storage device for a vehicle is provided which determines a preset trouble event based on various information on vehicles to store time-series freeze frame data in a plurality of memories. When a first trouble event occurs, the event is written in a first memory. Only when the first trouble event stored in the first memory differs from the present trouble event upon the occurrence of trouble events afterward, the event is written in a second memory.
