Abstract:
To provide a data structure of a map database which can provide information so that the load of controlling the operation of a vehicle can be reduced.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a data structure of a map database storing road information (110, 120, and 130) showing a road on which a vehicle is travelling, the database being accessible by a computer. The data structure has a road-rule corresponding structure (110, 120, 130, and 140) in which traffic rule specification information is related to the road information, the traffic rule specification information specifying the traffic rule for the vehicle to follow when the vehicle is travelling on the road shown by the road information (110, 120, and 130).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
