Abstract:

To provide a program, a packet transmitter, and repeater for preventing data tampering which prevent the data tampering on a communication network.

A data holding process and a overwrite process are executed by the repeater. In the data holding process, the program is added to a packet transmitted/received over the network to execute it at the repeater during the processing of a predetermined layer, and writes data relating to a higher order layer contained in the packet into a memory before the processing of the higher order layer. In the overwrite process, the program carries out overwriting with the processed data relating to the higher order layer using the data written into the memory after the higher order layer is processed.
