Abstract:
To make recovery-type congestion control and avoidance-type congestion control coexist on a computing network by suppressing the use of a frequency band for recovery-type congestion data transfer to a prescribed limit without changing clients' processing.
A read control means 21 reads data from a data buffer means 23 for a period determined by a read period decision means 22 and transfers the data to an application 24. Congestion in the network is avoided by controlling a data read rate of the application in response to a request for a frequency band to the network.
