To provide the transmission method by which a peripheral module is operated by a system clock generated from a central unit in the case of data exchange.
In this transmission method, an RC oscillator 20 is accessed to detect clock frequency information and to generate a data reception clock. A clock frequency is replaced with modified clock frequency information of a transmitter side. The deviation of an oscillator frequency at a receiver side is matched. Clock frequency information is derived from a reciprocal of at least a period of one synchronization pulse. The period is detected by counting the number of oscillator clocks with a counter in a clock frequency information detection circuit 19, and the numerals are transferred to a data reception clock generator 21. The clock from the same oscillator 20 is controlled to count the number of the oscillator clocks, and when the number reaches a prescribed threshold level, a clock signal is generated. A pulse width modulation signal is processed by the matching of the numerals.
