Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a data sequence comprising a digital video signal whose frame rates are 50, 60, 72, 75, 90, 120 Hz or the like and a Key signal data sequence by using circuit components for serial transmission according to the HD SDI(High Definition Serial Digital Interface). SOLUTION: Processing to obtain 1st and 2nd 20-bit word sequence data each word transmission rate of which is 74.25 MBps is applied to 30-bit parallel data including a Key signal data sequence whose quantization bit number is 10-bit and whose word transmission rate is 148.5 MBps and including a Y signal data sequence and a PB/PR data sequence comprising a digital video signal whose frame rate is 50 or 60 Hz, whose quantization bit number is 10-bit and whose word transmission rate is 148.5 MBps and the 1st and 2nd serial data respectively on the basis of the 1st and 2nd 20-bit word sequence data are transmitted.
