Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for establishing a communication protocol.
CONSTITUTION: When a call is originated for transferring data from a personal DTE 1 to a terminal DTE 2 of a fixed network, a call originating request and analog MODEM function setting information are transmitted from the DTE 1 to an adapter ADP 30, and the ADP 30 extracts the MODEM function setting information and a correspondent pattern number from a memory 34 and transmits them from a mobile radio equipment MS through a digital network DL to an adapter 50 of an exchange while putting them on call setting information. At the adapter ADP 50, the MODEM function setting information corresponding to the received pattern number is read from a memory 54 and set to an analog MODEM 51.
