Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accelerate data transmission speed by performing data transmission while utilizing plural communication lines set with a communicating party.
CONSTITUTION: A communication channel managing function CPU 17 is provided with a function for monitoring plural channel states, grasping the number of communication channels to be successively utilized and deciding the number of channels to be used, or the like. A program for executing this function is held in a ROM 19 for communication channel management. On the other hand, the information on the current number of usable communication channels is held in a RAM 18 for communication channel management for preserving the information required for the communication channel managing function CPU 17, and the held data are referred to or reloaded as needed. CPU 1, 17 and 20 are mutually connected by signals lines for transmitting a message to be recognized only between the CPU, and cooperated. This message is used not only for a present terminal but also for information exchange with the CPU group of a communicating party terminal.
