Title:
DATA WRITING SYSTEM FOR MAGNETIC CARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02172066
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain sure data write by writing a prescribed data onto a magnetic card together with the information of an amplitude stored in advance at every writing bit. CONSTITUTION:A CPU in a controller 50 reads address amplitude information from a ROM 52 in response to the position at every bit of write information, adds it with the output of an encoder 45 via a D/A converter 44 at a writing driver 37 and gives the resulting signal to a magnetic head 26. A regenerative signal is amplified and given to an A/D converter 42 and a decoder 43. All the information is stored in a RAM 53 under the control of the CPU of the controller 50 after decoding. The A/D converter 42 converts the amplitude information into digital information in response to the information location of each bit and stores the result to the RAM 53. The CPU of the controller 50 reads the amplitude information from the ROM 52, compares it with the information in the RAM 53 and when they are coincident, the information in the RAM 53 is used and if dicordant, the card is rejected. Since the amplitude information is added in addition to the information, the information is written surely.
