Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a daylighting device having a covering member that can be adapted for roofs of various shapes.SOLUTION: A daylighting device 1 comprises: fixing means 5 fixed to a roof R; daylighting means 2 fixed to the fixing means 5 to feed light from the sun; cylindrical light guiding means 3 for use in guiding light from the daylighting means 2 in a prescribed direction; irradiation means 4 for irradiating light guided by the light guiding means 3 into an indoor side; and a covering member 6 fixed to the roof R. The covering member 6 includes a pair of supporting members 7 installed at a pair of crest parts R11 provided at the roof R and cover means 60 set over the pair of supporting members 7 to cover trough parts R12 from above. The supporting members 7 have a substantial top-hat type section and comprises an upper surface part 71 supporting the cover means 60 from below, a pair of side surfaces 72 extending from both side ends of the upper surface part 71 downwardly and a pair of lower surfaces 73 extending outwardly from the lower end of the side surface and supported by the crest parts R11.
