Title:
DAZZLE RESISTING TREATMENT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60175003
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make clear observation possible by printing resin materials on a substrate and forming minute ruggedness on them to reduce reflection on the surface and reducing difficulties in seeing display due to projection of a light source on a display device.

CONSTITUTION: A reflective material 100 is laminated under a lower polarizing paper 3. A resin 4 is printed on an upper polarizer 3, and minute ruggedness is formed on the surface to form a dazzle resisting film. In this liquid crystal display device, though the light radiated from the light source such as solar rays 1 or the like is made incident on the polarizer 3, solar rays 1 are scattered and reflected by the dazzle resisting film 4 because the resin 4 for the dazzle resisting film having minute ruggedness is formed on the polarizer 3, and a distinct sun image is not formed on the display device when liquid crystal display is seen from the observer side; and consequently, liquid crystal display is observed clearly.
