To obtain a DBF (Digital Beam Forming) signal processing apparatus which can perform DFT processing at high speed, whose weight is reduced, and with which the cost of a product can be reduced, even in the case that the number of antenna elements is not a power of 2, and to provide a DBF signal processing method.
The DBF signal processing apparatus includes: reception means 3a to 3j for amplifying and demodulating signals received by one or more antenna elements 2a to 2j; A/D conversion means 4a to 4j for performing A/D conversion of amplified and demodulated signals; a product-sum operation means 5 for performing product-sum processing of A/D-converted signals by adder/subtractors and multipliers provided in accordance with the number of antenna elements; a signal arriving angle calculation means 6 for calculating incoming directions of signals from the operation result of the product-sum operation means 5; and a display means 7 for displaying the obtained incoming directions of signals.
