Abstract:
To reduce the size of a motor device of 1 to 300 W class.
An exciting magnet is formed of an anisotropy bond magnet 13 of a hollow cylindrical shape in the brush motor device and magnetized to four poles. The anisotropy bond magnet 13 includes a product of maximum energy about four times of a conventional sintered ferrite magnet. When four-pole magnetization is applied, a magnetic force contributing to torque impartment is increased since the magnetic path length of a magnetic circuit per pole is reduced. When the same torque as a conventional one is applied, the length of an electromagnetic rotating body and the axial length of a permanent magnet can be reduced, thus reducing the size of the motor device of 1 to 300 W class.
