PURPOSE: To obtaining an output current several times as large as the average input current from a DC power supply by charging three or more capacitors, including a first capacitor for taking out an output terminal, in series with the DC power supply and charging other capacitors, including the first capacitor, with a part of capacitors and then repeating the operation several times.
CONSTITUTION: Upon application of a driving signal onto a transistor 22, a transistor 11 is conducted and capacitors (C)1-4 are charged simultaneously with same charging current. Upon application of a driving signal onto a transistor 25, C1 discharges through a load 19 and C4 discharges to charge C1, 2, 3. Upon application of a driving signal onto a transistor 24, C1 is discharged through the load 19 to charge the C1, 2. Upon application of a driving signal onto a transistor 23, the C1 is discharged through the load 19 thus completing a single cycle. Consequently, the C1 can feed a current several times as large as the average input current from a DC power supply to the load 19.
