To provide a DC motor capable of attaining high heat dissipation and miniaturization.
In a stator 10, a core 13 formed by winding a winding 14 around respective teeth 13a is arranged and fixed at the inner periphery of a yoke housing 12. In a rotor 31, a permanent magnet arranged inside of the core 13 is fixed at a rotating shaft 32. A brush device 35 is fixed at the rotating shaft 32 and rotates brushes 37a, 37b with the rotating shaft 32. A commutator 18 is arranged and fixed outside of the brush device 35, brings the rotating brushes 37a, 37b into sliding contact with respective commutator pieces 20 to switch energization of an external DC power supply for the winding 14 wound around the respective teeth 13a of the core 13 via the brushes 37a, 37b and the respective commutator pieces 20.
