Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply device and a power tool system that enable a long-time continuous operation while suppressing deterioration, breakage and the like of a power supply component in the DC power supply device.SOLUTION: A DC power supply device comprises: output current detection means for detecting an output current; output current control means for controlling the output current; maximum allowable current value setting means for setting a maximum allowable current value; and temperature detection means for detecting a temperature of a power supply component. In a case where a value of the output current becomes larger than the maximum allowable current value, the output current control means stops the current output. The maximum allowable current value setting means changes the set maximum allowable current value depending on the temperature of the power supply component, detected by the temperature detection means.
