Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a system, by combining a breaker, diode bridge circuits and diode series circuits so that both power running current and recovery current flow through the one and the same breaker, and by allowing the recovery current to flow through this breaker. CONSTITUTION:When power running current is fed to trolley lines 9a through 9f or when recovery current generated through the trolley lines is controlled, the control may be made only by one set of thyristor breakers 23, diode bridge circuits 21, 41 and diode series circuits 30, 60. Further, both power running current and recovery current flow through the breakers 23, and therefore, if the breakers 23 are opened, the power running current and the recovery current may be controlled by this set of thyristor breakers 23. Further, it is possible to surely cope with a failure in a power running current bus and a recovery current bus by cutting off these breakers.
