Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service: distributed service operation jamming) defense method and a router device capable of preventing consumption of band resources inside a router, etc. and band resources of an access network when an attack IP packet is refused in a filter part provided to the router device, etc. to which a network is connected.
SOLUTION: The DDoS defense method and the router device are constituted so that a detection means 165 detects the attack IP packet 320, a filter information generation means 166 generates filter information, a distribution means 181 or a folding distribution means 155 informs all filters of the filter information and all filter parts 120 to 124 temporarily interrupt the attack IP packet 330.
