Abstract:
To provide a de Dion type suspension device of a vehicle such as an electric commercial car capable of further improving reliability.SOLUTION: A de Dion type suspension device 1 of a vehicle is composed of: first hollow members 12a, 12b which store drive shafts 6a, 6b in vehicle wheels 8a, 8b; a pair of second hollow members 14a, 14b which are joined with the first hollow members 12a, 12b, store the drive shafts 6a, 6b, and are connected to elastic bodies 16a, 16b for suspending bodies 10a, 10b of the vehicle; and a third hollow member. The de Dion type suspension device 1 includes an axle pipe 18 which couples the pair of the second hollow members 14a, 14b to support the pair of the vehicle wheels 8a, 8b. Outer surfaces of the second hollow members 14a, 14b continuing to joint surfaces 46a between the first hollow members 12a, 12b and the second hollow members 14a, 14b are made to be continuous surfaces 48 without corner portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
