Abstract:
To provide a dead leg evaluation system and a dead leg evaluation method capable of evaluating a dead leg.SOLUTION: A dead leg conduit 15 including a dead leg 16 is filled with colored water. Then, colorless water is caused to flow through the dead leg conduit 15. The color density is measured at an end of the dead leg 16 as soon as the colorless water is made to flow. An elapsed time until the measured color density falls within an allowable range is recorded. Such an experiment is performed by changing a plurality of condition parameters for the dead leg. The dead leg is evaluated based on the elapsed time until the color density according to the condition parameter is within the allowable range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
