Abstract:
To suppress distortions that occur caused by as a result of dead time of a switching output stage in a digital amplifier used in an audio amplifier, or the like.
The output current of the switching output stage is estimated or measured, the amount of influence that the dead time of the switching output stage has on an output signal is estimated, on the basis of the value of the output current and feedback compensation is applied to the influence given to the output signal by the dead time of the output stage by feedbacking through a noise shaping filter, and distortions are suppressed.
