Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a deaerator water level controller which prevents the operations of condensate pumps and condensate booster pumps from deviating from a proper flow rate range to an excessive flow rate range when a thermal power plant is placed in the independent load operation.

CONSTITUTION: This controller is provided with operation detectors 21a, 21b, and 21c which detect the operations of the condensate pumps 2a, 2b, and 2c and condensate booster pumps 3a, 3b, and 3c and a pump operation quantity calculator 23 which inputs operation signals from the operation detectors 22a, 22b, and 22c. This pump operation quantity calculator 23 calculates the number of pumps in operation and inputs its pump quantity signal to an opening extent computing element 24. The opening extent computing element 24 calculates the maximum opening extent of a deaerator water level control valve 5 from the pump quantity signal and outputs the result as a limited opening extent signal to an opening/closure limiter 16.
