Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decide tributyl phosphate and (or) butanol by liquid chromatograph for providing further improved sensitivity by filling sample solution into chromatographic column, filled with polar solid stational phase and passing the sample into movable liquid phase mixing non-polar solvent of specific volume %, to separate TBP from its degraded organism.
CONSTITUTION: TBP can be held longer into a column by selection of polar solid stational phase and non-polar movable liquid phase in a method, so that a degraded organism is perfectly separated from solvent and the TBP can exit lastly from the column just prior to butanol. Thus, good reproducibility of the decided value may be obtained over a wide TBP density range (0-100%). The butanol which is presence as impurity in the TBP can also be decided. A sample to be decided is decided, without diluting it, and amount of producing effluent may be reduced and degraded solvent may be accurately decided.
