PURPOSE: To make it needless to provide a projection on a deck for a compact sailboat and make it easy to mold the deck, by lowering the central part of the deck and making the front of the central part higher than the rear thereof and providing a center board inserting hole in the rear section of the central part.

CONSTITUTION: The deck 1 and a hull 2, which are molded from fiber-reinforced plastic, are coupled to each other, thereby forming the compact sailboat. The peripheral part of the deck 1 is made slightly higher than the central part 6 of the deck. The deck part outside a boundary line 7 provided on the peripheral part is slowly inclined down outward. The rear section 8 of the central part 6 of the deck is made lower than the front section 9 of the central part. A cockpit is provided in the rear section 8. The center board inserting hole 10 is provided in the front section 9. A mast inserting hole 13 is provided in the center of the front end of the front section 9. As a result, the stratification molding of the deck from FRP is facilitated.
