Abstract:
In this system, a complete frame and a line comb filter are used, as a function of the movement in the scene being reproduced, to separate the luminance and chrominance signals. The system also includes a device for reducing noise, which is connected after the comb filter arrangement and which also has at least one full frame memory. To improve the noise reduction, the movement signal of the comb filter arrangement is weighted and passed to the movement detector of the noise reduction system.
