Abstract:
To provide a decontamination device and decontamination method, which enable safer decontamination with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A decontamination device for decontaminating a decontamination target object arising from nuclear power facilities is provided, the decontamination device comprising a cutting unit for cutting a contaminated portion generated on a surface layer of the decontamination target object, a collection unit for collecting chips produced by cutting done by the cutting unit, and an operation device having an arm section provided with the cutting unit and the collection unit at a tip end thereof and configured to be remotely controllable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
