PURPOSE: To enable sure transfer of a pattern exclusively to the protruded pattern surface in the surface decoration of a ceramic plate having relief surface pattern by a transfer process and provide a decorated ceramic plate capable of efficiently coping with the change of pattern.

CONSTITUTION: A surface decoration is applied by a transfer process to the surface of a ceramic plate 1 having relief patterns 1B, 1A on the surface. The transfer is carried out by using a transfer film 3 produced by printing a uniform pattern on the whole surface of a protection film 3B having a releasing layer 3A at the part corresponding to the protruded part 1A of the ceramic plate 1.
