To provide a decorative body having a light transmittable plating with the same depth appearance as a jewel, using a transparent base material such as a glass and a plastic.

The decorative body 2 is constituted of a light transmittable recursive reflective plating sheet 7. The light transmittable recursive reflective plating sheet 7 is arranged on the back side 6 of the decorative body 2, achieving light transmittance of a light source 1 from the decorative body 2 shown by the side-view explanation figure (Fig.1), while also achieving reflection 5 of desired light 4 of the decorative body 2, an operation method of which is shown by a side-view explanation figure (Fig.1). As the light transmittable recursive reflective plating sheet 7 (Fig.1) is arranged so that the decorative body shows desired hue and the play of color effect is enjoyed. As a color pattern by reflection light from a brilliant cut surface 8 appears to float on the surface of the decorative body 1, and also the color pattern by reflection light is changed by changing the direction to view and the angle to view, the play of color effect that is freely changeable, is enjoyed.
