PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and facilitate execution by respectively forming a supporting member having engaging recessed parts and a girth main body having engaging projecting parts into one body by means of synthetic resin, fixedly securing the supporting body on the decided position of an outer wall, and fitting the girth main body on the supporting member from the upper side.

CONSTITUTION: A decorative girth 14 which is fitted on the outer wall between the first story and the second story of a detached house and the like for the purpose of decoration, is provided with engaging projecting parts 28, 38 on the upper and lower parts, and formed into one body by means of low foaming vinyl chloride or the like. A supporting member 12 having engaging recessed parts 26, 32 on the upper and lower parts is formed into one body by means of thermoplastic resin. Next, the supporting member 12 is fitted on the decided position of the outer wall 10 with nails, tapping screws, or the like, and the girth main body 14 is inserted from the upper side into the engaging recessed parts and fixedly secured. Hereby, the number of parts of the decorative girth is reduced and the fitting work can be simplified.
