A decorative molding 1 includes: a resin substrate 11; a black coating 12 laminated on the resin substrate; and metallic coating 13 including a luster scale 135 laminated on the surface. The coating 12 includes: an area 121 to which a laser is not applied; and an area 122 to which the laser is applied. In the metallic coating 13, the luster in the area 121 and the luster in the area 122 look different. The decorative molding 1 includes: a step of forming the black coating 12 on the substrate 11; a step of forming the area 122 by applying the laser; and a step of forming the metallic coating 13 including the luster scale 135 on the surface of the coating 12 including the area 121 and the area 122.
