Abstract:

To provide a decorative product having very little irregularity in color and a manufacturing method therefor, in regard to the decorative product having a colored transparent or colored translucent protective layer formed on a base having sparkling properties.

The decorative product 11 is constituted of the base 12 having sparkling properties and the colored transparent or colored translucent protective layer 13 provided on the base 12, and the protective layer 13 is colored by immersion in a dye bath obtained by using disperse dye. The decorative product 11 is manufactured through a process of forming a colorless transparent or colorless translucent protective layer 13 on the base 12 and a process of coloring the protective layer 13 formed on the base 12 by immersion in the dye bath.
