Title:
DEFLECTOR FOR VAPORIZING TYPE POT BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02213604
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an efficient burner burner which lends itself to reduction of the time from ignition to constant combustion and also to acceleration of the vaporization of kerosene by forming a deflector, which is set in the middle of the burner, in the shape of a hemispherical dome integrally by deep drawing.

CONSTITUTION: In the side wall 6 of a pot, a plurarity of primary air holes 9 are arranged in rows at different levels circumferentially from the lower part to the middle and a plurality of secondary air holes 17 at different levels are arranged above the uppermost primary air holes 9. Inside the pot burner 1 a deflector 11 is provided in the upper middle corresponding in position to the secondary air holes 17. This deflector 11 is formed in the shape of a hemispherical dome by deep drawing, and the edge of a marginal 20 rising upward in the shape of a flange and the rising side 21, tapering side 19, and apex 23 are formed in continuation. The deflector 11 service as a pattern which separates a primary zone 12 formed under the deflector 11 from a flame 18 formed over the deflector 11. From the deflector 11 heated by the flame 18 heat is transferred to a bottom plate 5 of the pot by heat radiation so that the vaporization of kerosene is efficiently accelerated. The space provided under the deflector 11 is useful for improving a gasified fuel and for mixing it with primary air.
