Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoaming apparatus improved in the efficiency of defoaming processing by exerting a function of heating a plastic in a pump on a pump component for pumping up the plastic in a viscous body state so as to further efficiently heat the plastic.SOLUTION: A defoaming apparatus includes: a container 11 for housing a plastic 90; a decompression device bringing the inside of the container 11 to a decompressed atmosphere; and a screw pump 13 (circulation pump) for circulating the plastic 90 into the container 11 by rotating a rotation axis 14 equipped with a pump-up part 14A on the surface, and pumping up the plastic 90 with the pump-up part 14A. The defoaming apparatus includes a rotary joint 17 (circulation device) which includes a circulation passage 17A capable of making fluid flow into the inside of the rotation axis 14, and circulates silicone oil 17E (heat medium) as fluid for heating the rotation axis 14 and the pump-up part 14A into the circulation passage 17A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
