PURPOSE: To provide a defogging glass capable of showing defogging effect even at a relatively low voltage, applicable for a curved surface glass and having excellent durability and weather resistance.
CONSTITUTION: This defogging glass is formed by combining an electroconductive glass 1 made by integrally forming a slender conductive layer 6 on one surface of a transparent plate like glass 5, electrodes 2a and 2b, which are arranged at a prescribed interval on the surface of the conductive layer 6 of the electroconductive glass 1 and to which electric power is supplied from an electric source by electrically connecting a slender conductor to the conductive layer 6 via a conductive adhesive member, with a transparent insulating coat 3 formed so as to cover the whole surface of the conductive layer 6 on the surface side of the glass 1, on which the electrodes 2a and 2b are arranged, and the conductive layer 6 is heated by applying current to the conductive layer 6 of the electroconductive glass 1 from the electrodes 2a and 2b. As a result, the conductive layer 6 works as a heater and the cloudiness of the surface of the glass is removed by heating the surface of the electroconductive glass 1 to evaporated dew condensation even at a relatively low voltage.
