To prevent the deformation of a door mounting frame by forming a recessed groove along the periphery of an opening on the concrete wall of a building, filling the groove with mortar having the prescribed strength, and fixing the door mounting frame to the mortar.
A vertically long and rectangular opening 11 is formed on the concrete wall 10 of a building like an apartment house, and a recessed groove 12 is formed all around the periphery of the opening 11. Then, the recessed groove 12 is filled with mortar containing many foam styrene grains 14 and having strength set at a lower value than the strength of the concrete wall 10 or a metallic rectangular door mounting frame 16. Thereafter, the door mounting frame 16 is fixed to the inner side of the mortar 13. Also, a metallic rectangular door 17 is laid at a position inside the door mounting frame 16 but outside a projection 16A. As a result, when the concrete wall 10 is deformed, due to an earthquake or the like, a load acts on the mortar 13 to the breakage thereof and is thereby absorbed. According to this construction, the deformation of the door mounting frame 16 is prevented, and the door 17 is protected against such a condition as disabling an opening operation.
