Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to start a vehicle as soon as possible at the time when the vehicle is used, by energizing a heater energizing section when a time previously set on a time setting section comes so that energy from the heater defreezes and removes ice on the icy surface of a front windshield pane. CONSTITUTION:The body 1 of a heater for melting snow and defreezing ice on a vehicle front windshield pane is connected to a control section 2 in parallel with a heater energizing section 3 and a power source section (storage battery) 4, and a time setting section 5 is connected to the control section 5. The body 1 is adhesively secured to the front windshield pane at a suitable position on the inside thereof when it is used, After the time of initiation of enegization is set on the time setting section 5, a start switch is turned on so as to establish the operating condition. In this operating condition, when the set time comes, the control section 2 energizes the heat energizing section 3, and heat energy produced by the heater defrosts and defreezes the icy surface of the front windshield pane.
