Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defrosting heater not becoming a source of fire catching even in case a refrigerant gas leaks outside a cooling mechanism for a cooling device using as the refrigerant a flammable gas not causing destruction of the ozone layer.
SOLUTION: It is so structured that a heating element formed with a sintering body including a carbon system matter which can adjust a resistivity value at several thousands to several millions μΩ/cm is sealed inside a quartz glass tube. because of a good linear relation between a value (watt density) of a consumption power (W) divided by a surface temperature of the heating element, designing of the surface temperature and the consumption power of the quartz glass tube is freely made by adjusting the shape and resistivity value of the heating element.
