PURPOSE: To efficiently dehumidify and dry the wet air in a room by a rotary dehumidifier and to regenerate the dehumidifier by a simple air supply system and to reduce the size and the cost of the entire apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: The air A in a room introduced from the suction port 3 of a mounting port 2 having sucking and diffusing functions provided at the front surface of a case body 1 is passed through a humidifier 20 provided in the body 1 by a forcible circulating mechanism of a single blower 10 to absorb moisture, and then the air B is returned from an outlet 4 to the room. The dehumidifying and drying apparatus has a ventilating function of passing high- temperature air C through the humidifier 20 in which the moisture is absorbed to remove the moisture in the humidifier 20 and directly exhausting the air in the room. The rotary shaft of the dehumidifier is supported laterally horizontally to the suction direction of the air by the blower to be vertically rotated in a vertical type installation.
