PURPOSE: To permit to eliminate uncomfortable feeling due to overcooling by a constitution wherein a compressor is not stopped for a predetermined period of time even when a room temperature has arrived at a room-cooling stopping temperature in order to obtain a large dehumidifying capacity and reduce the amount of indoor circulating airflow compared with the time of room-cooling so as to increase a latent heat ratio.
CONSTITUTION: Room cooling operation, in which refrigerant flows through the compressor 1, a condenser 2, a pressure reducer 3 and an evaporator 4 as shown by the arrow signs of full line in the diagram, is effected at first. A room temperature measuring circuit detects the reduction of room temperature at a time t1 in the lower diagram and when it arrives at a temperature TOFF, a room temperature decision circuit decides it and outputs to a timer circuit and a revolving number control circuit. As a result, the timer circuit counts a set time Δt and the revolving number control circuit switches an indoor fan 6 into 'low' operation. According to this operation, dehumidification is effected. When the timer circuit counts the set time Δt further or at a time point t2, the compressor 1 is stopped and the indoor fan 6 is also stopped simultaneously. Thereafter, when the room temperature arrives at TON at the time point t3, the compressor 1 is operated again and the indoor fan 6 is operated in 'high' state operation, thereafter, above-described operation are repeated at the time points t4, t5, t6... subsequently.
