Title:
DEHYDRATION TIME CONTROLLER FOR WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3415236
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To optimize the dehydration time of laundry and to prevent malfunctions by mounting a non-conductive pipe to an entrance for discharging dehydrated water, generating an energizing voltage corresponding to the amount of the discharged water, comparing it with a reference voltage and controlling a motor for dehydration.
CONSTITUTION: A water amount sensing part 9 is interposed between a water discharge hose and a water discharge valve disposed at the bottom part of a washing tub. The water amount sensing part 9 is constituted of the non-conductive pipe 91 in a cylindrical shape mounted at a fixed angle, preferably vertically, so as to smooth the flow of the water and a pair of electrodes 92 and 93 formed on the inner surface and installed separately from each other in the flowing direction of the water. A supply power source Vcc is applied to the electrode 92 and the electrode 93 is connected to a comparison part 11. Then, the energizing voltage between the electrodes 92 and 93 is applied to the non-inverted terminal of a comparator 11a in the comparison part 11 and compared with the reference voltage applied to an inverted terminal, and in the case that the energizing voltage is smaller than the reference voltage, H signals are outputted to a microcomputer 12 and the motor 13 for the dehydration is stopped.
