Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently dehydrate even a thick product under suction over a short distance in the manufacturing of a ceramic plate material.
CONSTITUTION: A roll or belt 3 whose air permeable surface 3A is loaded with suction force is provided on the surface side of a dehydrating belt conveyor 1A wherein dehydrating suction boxes 2A... 2A are provided to the rear of a transfer conveyor 2 composed of a belt having air permeability such as a felt belt so as to come into contact with the surface of a transferred water- containing ceramic plate-shaped molded body G and the molded body G is sucked and dehydrated from both surfaces thereof at the same time to enhance dehydration efficiency.
